Halloween and People

wake up. open your your eyes. this moment right now, it's all you got to change to move to act to feel to anger and rise. wake up, open your eyes.
Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow.
For Halloween I was going to be Carole Burnette as Scarlett Ohara. maybe i'll do that next year.
For Halloween I was going to stay at home and watch an old movie on 26.4 and eat popcorn and enjoy the company of me. I like the company of me.
For Halloween I was going to forget that you told me living was like swallowing gasoline. maybe i'll do that next year.

People are the same, no matter where you look. People are people are people. This might sound strange, but really. I've done a lot of research. I have devoured fiction. followed by non-fiction. followed by fantasy. followed by drama. followed by reality. I've swallowed most of them after chewing extensively. Some I took in a gulp. This is what I have discovered. People are people no matter where you look. People are people and writing is writing, and whatever happens, happens.
so,
what does this means in non-inside allthein-between's head language?
That human beings can't help being human.
And that being human can be a terrible and beautiful thing all at the same time wrapped up in a box of chocolates, hidden in a garden maze and thrown out to sea in a bottle that gets sucked down by the Bermuda triangle and melted into the center of the earth.

(the happening part I stole from Douglas Adams- but isn't it absolutely amazing when you think about it)

On Writing

i WILL write today. i WILL write today. i promise. cross my heart and hope to die, stick a needle in my eye. (well minus the eye part unless i've already died, in which case go ahead, stick whatever you want in my eye, what do i care.)

See Juana

see juana, see juana laugh, laugh juana laugh.
See juana dream. of futures and love and houses that don't belong to father's voice and father's anger. dream juana, dream
See juana sneak out after everyone's gone to bed. See juana dance and laugh, and move and smile for all the boys who want to dance with juana. dance juana, dance
See juana listen to pretty words coming from a pretty boy. see juana listen for magic words to make her dreams come true and her skirt go up.
See juana love. See juana say yes to pretty boy hands and pretty boy words and pretty boy promises. love juana, love.
See juana fuck. Fuck jauna, fuck.
See juana's belly change and grow. See pretty boy words and pretty boy promises run.
See juana cry. Cry juana, cry.
See juana run from father's voice and father's anger. Run jauna, run.
See juana's beautiful baby girl. See ten fingers, ten toes, one mouth, two eyes. See juana's perfect baby girl. See juana love juanita. Love juana, love.
See juana work. and work. and work. Work juana, work.
See juanita's still perfect ten fingers, ten toes, one mouth, two eyes.
See juanita laugh. Laugh juanita, laugh.
See juanita dream of futures and love and houses that don't belong to mother's voice and mother's guilt. Dream juanita, dream
